Take a trip with me for the most perfect of wedding days out in Cap-Pelé, NB. The prep, the ceremony, and the reception all taking place at the same family property overlooking the Northumberland Straight (which we usually just call the Atlantic Ocean). The sun was shining and the sky was giving some gorgeous dramatic clouds all day. The gusting wind, however, made the usual wedding dress hanging just a little bit precarious, and required being only Half outside - thankfully nothing blew away, though. 😉

Prep was quick and easy, so the bride’s crew stepped outside for some fun photos before I headed to Shediac to take photos with the groom.

They were all squeezed into a little air-bnb cottage across the street from Parlee Beach, so as soon as they were done we stepped across the road for a few photos, then headed to the Point du Chene Wharf for a few more family photos.

Then back to Cap-Pelé for the ceremony! With a family made arch and the ocean as our backdrop it couldn’t have looked more beautiful. The wind blew just enough to add a little drama to the photos as well (which I love).

Everyone was So happy at this ceremony, and a cheer rose up with the ‘I now pronounce…’. Immediately after we moved the chairs and gathered everyone for a big group photo, then proceeded with some wedding party and couple’s photos at the edge of the water.

As you can see, the sky simply didn’t stop giving that day. Then it was time for the reception! Which took place just a few feet away in a pop-up (thought large and beautiful) tent in the yard. After some speeches we popped back outside for a few ‘blue hour’ photos. Although were were actually a little late for that and it was Quite dark, the look was still strikingly beautiful. And then the party began! I had brought my 360 video booth for this one, and they had a lot of fun with that. And the dancing and celebrating went on deep into the night - long after I left I’m sure, and I didn’t leave very early!
