Jessica & Devin's Engagement
How early does the sun come up in late September anyway? Well, it was time to find out. According to the metadata on that first shot, apparently it was around 7:25am.
I met Jess and Devin at the surprisingly chilly Irishtown Park for the engagement session as the sun was beginning to show above the trees on the other side of the lake. Steam rose off the cold water as the warm light glanced across it, and we set to work having a pretty great time taking photos around the park. I say "around" the park, but we really didn't have to go very far at all. You don't always have to go for a hike in the woods to get to somewhere romantic (but if you want to, that can be fun, too).
Before we knew it, we had a pile of romantic/adorable/silly shots in the camera, and Devin carried Jess all the way back to the parking lot on his back.*
*Or about 15 feet, at which point they were both laughing too much to continue. One of those two things.
