Meike 50mm f/0.95 Review
Now that you’ve heard my thoughts on this dream machine of a lens, feel free to take some time to browse some higher resolution image samples below!
First we’ll start with an engagement shoot. I unfortunately made mistakes while packing for it and forgot my Sony 90mm macro lens! But never to be defeated, I freelensed the 50 0.95 to get much closer focus shots. It didn’t work perfectly, but it worked!
Then let’s head downtown to small garden by the road with Vee (https://www.instagram.com/vee._.pink/). But you can’t even tell because this lens does a great job of erasing the background! Some of these shots were also freelensed. After that we headed out of the garden and into downtown proper for some more urban looks.
Let’s take this lens to a wedding!
Even when taking photos of seemingly mundane things this lens has a certain charm to it.
And the finally time for our classic cat’s eye bokeh test, from wide open to stopped down ;)
