Sirui Aurora 85mm f/1.4 Review

Now that you’ve heard my thoughts on the Sirui 85mm f/1.4 Aurora lens, feel free to take a few minutes to leisurely browse some more image samples! We’ll start out in the hallway of the Aberdeen for some straight up bokeh with Nic https://www.instagram.com/vivalavida.creativa/

Next up is our cats eye bokeh test, and as you can see here, wide open we don’t get a Lot of cats eye effect, just a bit of D shaping, and things stay pretty smooth around the edges as it gets stopped down. This lens exhibits significantly less CA than the 85GM mk1, but a little more onion ringing inside the bokeh.

Time to head outside for something a little more natural. The sun came out for just a moment finally!

Closed that one off with some shots at f/9 to see if there were any sunstars to be had… not much.

Then we’ll go back inside at the Jassy Tea Room https://www.instagram.com/jassyboutique_and_tearoom_/

Thanks for coming along on this ride! If you want to pick one up, feel free to use one of my links to help support this channel and feed my fat cats:
