Danica & Jeremie's Engagement
We return for the last time this year to Irishtown Nature Park in Moncton. As the very last of the colourful fall leaves were clinging tenuously to the trees, we actually had to pick our spots carefully to actually find the best trees to have in the background.
The water level was a little low that day, which let us try something just a little bit different, taking a tiny hike down to the spillway for some more slightly different shots with the straight lines and concrete.
I finally found it: the perfect leaf. I didn't expect to find it so late in the fall, but there it was, amongst the piles of dry and rotting foliage. And thankfully, we also had the perfect engagement ring that day as well ;) I probably have a few too many shots of the ring and the beautiful, bright red maple leaves, but they're now some of my favourite ring shots ever.
Now, I don't mean to take the spotlight away from the happy couple - Danica & Jeremie were pretty great as well, but you probably already knew that, anyway. :)
