Kelly & Sonya's Wedding

Our day begins cool and rainy at the Amsterdam Inn in Sussex. In separate rooms the two halves of the wedding party were getting ready. I didn’t spend a long time here, as most of my coverage was planned for the main event and the following party (“reception” doesn’t really do it justice).

Then off to Blueberry Hill Farms for the ceremony! The clouds kept threatening rain in the lead up to it, so in the end the knot was tied inside. The ceremony included both the usual (though heartfelt!) vows and signatures, but also a beautiful traditional native blanket wrapping ceremony.

After the ceremony we headed out for a group photo with everyone (while I stood on… a spool? A table? I’m not sure anymore…), then on to the wedding party photos.

After the photos we came back into the barn to warm up and start the party with speeches, the shoe game, and the first dance.

And then things Really took off. The band was rocking, and the dance floor was packed the whole night! I just went back to count and I delivered 597 photos Just of the epic dance party.

Quite possibly the most fun wedding of the year! Such an amazing group of people, the wedding party, the family, the friends, everyone was there to share the love and to have an amazing time. Congratulations Kelly & Sonya on your epic wedding day!
